Well, I'm 'ever so slightly' excited about this one, the 'Wacom Dreams contest'! The second (I think ? ) of their 'Bring your Vision to Life' contests. Just take a look at the prizes and you'll see why I'm excited '

I am, of course, terribly aware as ever of the extreme unlikelihood of winning. Even without taking into account the ridiculous amount of talent present on dA, it's immediately apparent how difficult it is to get spotted in a competition like this because of the shear volume of entrants. Last year, when they held the first of these contests, I cant remember how many entries there were, but it would take you days to go through them all haha Probably considerably more than that if you were to do anything more than glance over the thumbnails for the majority of them

But anyway, having said all that, it's still a lot of fun and a great exercise. I've found this kind of thing seems to push me to do new things and/or try harder, and anything that does that is surely worth while.
